A huge explosion at a chemical factory in Guixi City, China has left a number of injuries. There are also unconfirmed reports of deaths. The explosion occured at noon, local time. The chemical factory is owned by the silicon oil production company Jiangxi QianTai New Materials.

Initial reports suggests that the explosion occured after silicon oil caugt fire. Emergency operations are underway.
