6.3-magnitude earthquake in the Philippines.

Nearly an hour ago, the South China Sea, 136 km northeast of Laoag, Philippines was rocked by a strong 6.3-magnitude earthquake at a depth of 41.3km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
The shaking was felt by a number of towns located close to the epicenter, but it is not expected to have caused significant damage. It was felt in Namuac (pop. 3,000) located 73 km from the epicenter, Claveria (pop. 10,600) 75 km away, Cabaritan East (pop. 9,300) 99 km away, Aparri (pop. 33,200) 111 km away, Laoag (pop. 102,100) 136 km away, San Nicolas de Ilocos (pop. 34,200) 138 km away, and Batac City (pop. 53,500) 151 km away, the quake should have been felt as light shaking.
