Hundreds of shops destroyed in Bangladesh.

Disaster struck at the Mohammadpur shopping market in Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka, after a huge blaze swept through in the early hours of Thursday. There were no casualties.
Local authorities reported that its military forces and firefighters took 6 hours to contain the fire. The market contained huge amounts of flammable items such as cooking oil and plastics which contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. A total of 217 shops were destroyed or damaged in the fire. The market had a total of 317 shops.
An investigation has been launched.
