Moments ago, at 10.32am local time a 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck 13miles north of Ukiah, Mendocino County, California, USA at a shallow depth of 5.6km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
Earthquake activity in California has increased. Just 15 hours ago a 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck east of Los Angeles, South California. This was felt by thousands in San Diego and Los Angeles counties. The earthquake struck near Lytle Creek which is close to the intersection of the San Jacinto and San Andreas fault.
