A 5.0-magnitude earthquake strikes Chiapas, Mexico.

An hour ago the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported that a 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck San Nicolás, 72 km southwest of Comitan, Chiapas, Mexico at a depth of 214km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might revised later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their report.
