The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported a 4.0-magnitude earthquake moments ago in El Loa, 101 km north of Calama, Provincia de El Loa, Antofagasta, Chile at a depth of 102km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.

Towns or cities that might have felt the light earthquake include Calama, Tocopilla, San Pedro de Atacama, Iquique and Antofagasta.
