A 5.5-magnitude earthquake strikes Indonesia.

Just minutes after the 6.4-magnitude earthquake that struck the Philippines and a 6.7-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia an after shock of 5.5-magnitude struck the Indian Ocean, 175 km west of Pariaman, Sumatra Barat, Indonesia at a shallow depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.

The quake was most likely felt by a lot of people living close to the epicenter. No tsunami alert has been issued for the previous earthquake and this one so far. More details to follow.
