Minutes ago, a 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck off the Coast of Aisen, Chile at a shallow depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might still be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.

It is not yet known if a tsunami alert has been issued.
