Moments ago a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck 44 km east of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia at a depth of 50km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

Aftershocks expected. People living close to the epicenter of the quake report to have felt light to moderate shaking.
