Moments ago a 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck 31 km east of Manay, Philippines at 11.02am local time. The quake struck at a depth of 58.48km and no tsunami is expected.

Based on preliminary data, only minor damage is expected, but it was eidely felt near the epicenter. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
