India has registered the worst death toll in one day putting the number of death from the COVID-19 virus to 11,903 as of Wednesday. India also reported 10,974 new cases putting the total number of cases to 354,000. Most of these deaths were unreported earlier and were added on Tuesday after a massive reconciliation exercise.
