Germany reports a large outbreak in a slaughterhouse.

A new Covid-19 outbreak in Germany is considered to be one of the largest since the reopening of the economy in early May. A total of 657 workers from a slaughterhouse located in Gutersloh, have tested positive. The company that owns the slaughterhouse, Toennies Group, temporarily shut down the plant.
The outbreak has prompted the local authorities to suspend childcare centres and schools until the end of the month. Around 7000 people have been put in quarantine due to possible exposure.
