Early Saturday morning, an explosion occurred in front of a night shop in Pieter Calandlaan. The explosion was caused by an unknown explosive and it was detonated at 3.30am. The culprits left the scene soon afterwards on a scooter.

There were no reported injuries, but the area was cordoned off for 2 hours, until the police bomb disposal team made sure there isn’t another bomb. Police are currently investigating the cause of the bomb.
