Ripple (XRP) price increases amidst price drops in other major Altcoins and Bitcoin.
Earlier today, the majority of the digital currencies took a severe blow, with their prices dropping by as much as 30% of their price. Ripple which was also affected, suffered the same fate in the beginning when the price dropped to €0.57 at one point (Worldcoinindex.com). Ripple quickly recovered from this price drop and reached €1.06 for a brief moment nearly reaching its all time high.
Ripple (XRP) is a form of digital currency, which like the majority of other digital currencies, utilizes blockchain technology in securing payments from one party to another. Ripple was created by Jed McCaleb and launched on September 2013. This cryptocurrency differs from the bitcoin by having its source code privately owned, meaning it does not require verification by an outsider. Ripple is viewed by some cryptocurrency experts as superior to bitcoin thanks to its quicker transaction times.
