The recent sanctions imposed on Pyongyang have been considered as an act of war by the state owned KCNA news agency. The United Nations Security Council carried out the vote to impose new tougher sanctions on North Korea last Friday, in response to the latest ballistic missile tests held on 29th November.
The sanctions include the reduction of North Korea’s petrol imports to 500,000 barrels a year and crude oil to 4 million barrels. The sanctions also included the repatriation of North Koreans working abroad within 2 years.
