On Sunday, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Avdullah Hoti, 44, announced that he tested positive for COVID-19. He said that he did not display any symptoms except for a mild cough.

Mr. Hoti also said, ‘I am going to isolate myself for two weeks from today. I will carry out my duties from home.’

Kosovo registered a total of 8,799 cases and 249 deaths since the pandemic began.
