A 5.1-magnitude earthquake strikes Philippines.

Minutes ago, a 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck 197 km north of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, Philippines at a shallow depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.

Several towns or cities felt a weak shaking. No damage to infrastructure is expected. Aftershocks are expected. More details to follow.
