Minutes ago, another earthquake struck 96 km southwest of Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan, Iran. Southern Iran at a depth of 10km. The 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck in the same region as the previous earthquake an hour ago. The recent earthquake was felt in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Doha, Qatar. This is the eight earthquake in Southern Iran which was also felt in several cities in Qatar.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might still be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.

Local sources have revealed that some people in Ajman, UAE are so afraid that they are staying outside of their houses in case of other significant earthquakes.
