4.2-magnitude earthquake in Argentina.

Moments ago, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake struck Jujuy, 57 km west of San Antonio de los Cobres, Departamento de Los Andes, Salta, Argentina at a depth of 240km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

The earthquake was felt as weak shaking in towns or cities located close to the epicenter. These include San Antonio de los Cobres (Salta), Jujuy, Salta and Palpala.
