A 5.0-magnitude earthquake in Eastern Visayas, Philippines

Philippines was struck by another earthquake minutes ago. Seismologists reported it as a 5.0-magnitude and it struck 3.1 km southeast of Catbalogan, Province of Samar, Eastern Visayas at a shallow depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

The earthquake was most likely felt by a number of people located close to the epicenter. More details to follow.
