5.9-magnitude earthquake in Mexico.

Local sources just reported a signifcant 5.9-magnitude earthquake 20km North of Atoyac de Alvarez, Guerrero, Mexico at a depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

The earthquake was felt in a number of towns or cities located close to the epicenter. It is not yet known how much damage the earthquake caused and if there are any injuries or casualties. More details to follow.
