A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck the Philippine Sea, 65 km northeast of Dapa, Philippines at a depth of 105km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

It is believed that the earthquake was not felt by many due to its depth and distance of the towns or cities from the epicentre.
