Croatia Jolted: 3.9-magnitude earthquake rattles Sibenik.

A sudden 3.9 magnitude earthquake struck near Sibenik, Croatia, early on March 4, 2026, sending shockwaves through the quiet night. The tremor hit at 00.23 GMT waking residents in the Sibenik-Knin County with no reported damage or injuries so far.

The quake struck at a shallow depth of 10km.  The closest largest town where the earthquake might have been felt is Split, a city with a population of 150,000.
