The UN draft UNGA Resolution A/ES-10/L.22 has passed with 128 countries vote in favour, 9 countries against and 35 countries abstained. This resolution considers the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital city of Israel as ‘null and void’. Despite threats from Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the UN, that UN funding will be cut off, and as well as from Washington, State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauerte, that foreign aid to countries will be stopped, major recipients of US aid voted in favour or were not absent.
