The villagers of Lukomir, a village in Bosnia located in the Bjelasnic mountain, around 1500m above sea level, claim that they have never had a single case of coronavirus. They walk freely without masks and the need for social distancing.

‘There is no corona here. We move freely, without face masks and (protective gloves), said the 83- year old villager, Vejsil Comor.

Another villager, Raha Elezovic, said: ‘The coronavirus has not reached us.’

The only downside is that tourism in this village has dropped significantly, but the villagers spirits remain high as always!
