The Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz issued a travel warning on Wednesday to the North Rhine-Westphalia, after an outbreak in a meat processing plant in Gütersloh. This puts the German state into the same category as the Italian region of Lombardy.
As of Tuesday, 1,553 workers in the meat processing plant owned by Tönnies have tested positive for the virus. This outbreak has prompted the closure of bars, gyms and restaurants for a week. A prohibition of outdoor gatherings of more than two people is also in place.
Over 1500 workers tested positive ! Another nightmare.
