Death toll in Brazil surpasses 53,000; Mexico fatalities surges beyond 24,000

The situation in Brazil and Mexico seems to be getting worse as the coronavirus fatalities surpasses 53,000 in Brazil and 24,000 in Mexico. In the last 24 hours, Brazil reported 1,185 deaths, while Mexico reported 947. In Brazil, the worst hit city, is Sao Paolo, with 238,822 cases.
The total number of cases in Brazil reached 1,192,474 while in Mexico it reached 196,847. Brazil is the second worst hit country in the World after the United States.
