On Saturday, a huge explosion killed 9 people and injured 14 . A suicide bomber detonated his vehicle full of explosives near the gate of the military base. The casualties includes civilians and soldiers.

Police Colonel Ahmed Muse said that suicide bomber attacked the 12th April Army Brigade base, which is located close to a reopened sports stadium in Warta-Nabadda district.

No group has claimed responsibility, but Somalia’s has recently been in clashes with the terrorist group, Al-Shaabab.
