Nigerian fighter jet goes missing in Northeast Borno.

On Thursday, the Nigerian military announced that one of their fighter jets, an Alpha fighter jet, went missing while on duty fighting Boko Haram terrorists in Northeast Borno.
The loss of radar contact occurred at about 5.08 p.m. [1608GMT] on 31 March 2021. Details of the whereabouts of the aircraft or likely cause of contact loss are still sketchy but will be relayed to the general public as soon as they become clear,
Edward Gabkwet, spokesman of the Nigerian Airforce.
A search and rescue operation has been launched to find the missing aircraft. This comes a month after a similar accident, when a Nigerian Air force aircraft crashed at the Abuja airport killing all seven people onboard.
