Multiple people dead after a shooting in Indianapolis

Late on Thursday, a gunman entered a FedEx facility in Indianapolis and opened fire killing at least nine people. The gunman apparently killed himself after soon after the shooting.
The shooting was reported to the police at 11pm, and officers arrived while the shooting was ongoing. It is not yet known if the shooter was an employee of the company, and no information about his motives have been revealed.
FedEx issued a statement about the fatal shooting,
We are aware of the tragic shooting at our FedEx Ground facility near the Indianapolis airport. Safety is our top priority, and our thoughts are with all those who are affected. We are working to gather more information and are cooperating with investigating authorities

A witness that didn’t reveal his name, reported to WTHR of Indianapolis that he was working inside the FedEx facility when the shooting started. He said he heard gunshots and when he saw from where the gunfire is coming, he saw the gunman. He than ducked when the gunman fired more shots. The unnamed witness said that he managed to run out of the facility, and saw one person on the floor on his way out.
Unfortunately, US experiences frequent shootings, with the most recent one in April 8 when one person was killed and several others injured when a gunman entered a cabinet company facility in Bryan, Texas and opened fire.
