UEFA to penalize England football team after laser was pointed at the Danish goalkeeper’s face.

UEFA are currently investigating an incident that happened during the semi-final match between England and Denmark. During a penalty in the match, an English fan pointed a laser directly on the Danish goalkeeper, Kasper Schmeichel face. Despite this Kasper Schmeichel saved the penalty, but the ball rebounded and ended back to Kane where he than scored, winning the match 2-1. England will now face Italy on Sunday.
After the match, the English Football Association worked with UEFA to try to find the person that used the laser but it was to no avail.
Even though the Danish Football Association did not file a formal complaint, UEFA will still investigate the incident and are ready to penalize the English team upon conclusion of their investigation.
Disciplinary proceedings have been opened following the UEFA EURO 2020 semi-final match between England and Denmark (2-1), played on July 7 at Wembley Stadium, London. The case will be dealt with by the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body (CEDB) in due course

England has also been charged for disturbance caused by its supporters during the Danish national anthem, and also for setting flares during the match.
