A fire has been reported in Amirkabir Petrochemical factory in southwestern province of Khuzestan, Mahshahr, Iran. Footage revealed thick black smoke from the area affected. Eyewitnesses said that the fire started at the chemicals accumulation site.

Fire fighters have been deployed to the area. According to local IRNA, fire has been contained and noone has died. No information of what caused the fire.
