According to local sources, shortly before 11am local time, between 15-20 rockets fired from South Lebanon into the Golan Heights were intercepted by the Iron Dome system. Others fell into open areas. Sirens sounded in towns of Ein Quiniyye, Neveh Ativ and Snir close to the Golan heights, prompting people to rush to shelters moments before the rockets landed in the area.

There have been no injuries or casualties. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) responded immediately, firing artillery shells at several targets in Lebanon. Hours later Israel also conductes several airstrikes targeting ‘terror infrastructure’ and rocket launching sites.
