A 4.2-magnitude earthquake strikes Oaxaca, Mexico.

Nearly an hour ago, Mexico’s National Seismological Service (SSN) reported a 4.2-magnitude earthquake in North Pacific Ocean, 83 km south of Salina Cruz, Oaxaca, Mexico at a depth of 16km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their report.
Towns or cities that might have felt a weak shaking include Concepcion Bamba (pop. 310) located 80 km from the epicenter, San Mateo del Mar (pop. 5,700) 82 km away, Salina Cruz (pop. 76,600) 83 km away, San Francisco del Mar Viejo (pop. 4,000) 89 km away, Santa Maria Xadani (pop. 7,600) 99 km away, and Santo Domingo Tehuantepec (pop. 42,100) 100 km away.
