A 5.1-magnitude earthquake strikes Provincia de Ica, Peru.

An hour ago the the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported that a 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Ica, Provincia de Ica, Peru at a shallow depth of 10km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.
Based on preliminary data the earthquake should not have caused any significant damage, but it still was felt by a lot of people located close to the epicenter.
