Minutes ago the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that a 3.9-magnitude struck 1.6 miles southwest of East Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, USA at a depth of 17km.
Since the earthquake has just occurred, the exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.
Even though it was a light earthquake, it was felt by a lot of people close to the epicenter of the quake.
