A 4.1-magnitude earthquake strikes White City, New Mexico.

Nearly an hour ago, the United States Geological Survey reported that a 4.1-magnitude earthquake struck near Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico, USA at a shallow depth of 5.2km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.
The earthquake was felt as weak shaking, and was most likely felt in several towns or cities located close to the epicenter. This includes Dell City (pop. 350) located 43 miles from the epicenter, and Carlsbad (pop. 29,000) 52 miles away.
