According to several media outlets, an explosion occurred on Tuesday morning in Syria’s capital of Damascus. Initial reports suggest that it was caused by controlled detonations by the Syrian rebels.

This report was released soon after the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that Israel’s army attacked Latakia, Syria, a port city where the Russian forces also have a base. It said to be the second such strike by Israeli warplanes on the coastal city of Latakia.
