Amid clashes in the area between Russians and Ukrainian forces, the Governor of Sumy, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi said that there is an ammonia leak at the Pat Sumykhimprom chemical plant.

The Governor said that an area of 5km has been affected by the release of ammonia. Citizens were advised to stay indoors while the damage to the plant is fixed.

Update: A journalist revealed that the leak is under control.
