Minutes ago, Philippines was struck again by another earthquake. The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported this quake as a magnitude 5.2, 40km NNE of Basco, Philippines. It occurred at a shallow depth of 10km.
As usual, the exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.
Several towns or cities that might have felt a weak shaking include Basco, Hengchun, Taitung City, Aparri, Laoag and Batac City.
