Moments ago a 5.2-magnitude earthquake was reported in the North Pacific Ocean, 77km northeast of Iwaki, Fukushima, Japan at a depth of 60km.

Since it occurred just a few minutes ago, so the exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.

Several towns or cities close to the epicenter of the quake felt weak to moderate shaking. More details to follow.
