Minutes ago a 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck 116 km west of Ciudad de San Juan, Departamento de Capital, San Juan, Argentina at a depth of 83km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might still be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports, but it is unlikely.
The minor earthquake was most likely felt a small number of people living close to the epicenter of the quake. This includes Calingasta, Villa Basilio Nievas, Pocito and Ciudad de San Juan.
