According to local sources, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake has just struck 15 km east of Düzce, Turkey at a shallow depth of 2km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might still be changed again later on as seismologists review their data and calculations, or else as other agencies issue their own reports.
The earthquake was most likely felt just as weak shaking in those cities or towns located close to the epicenter. No damage or injuries are expected.
