The North Korean Army (DPRK) fired an additional 7 Ballistic missiles in the Japanese Sea, according to the Japanese Ministry of Defense. This puts the total of missiles shot today at 17. South Korea also claimed that 100 artillery shots were fired from North Korea into the maritime buffer zone in the East Sea.

South Korea responded to this aggression by firing several missiles, from a fighter jet, north of the maritime border.
