Moments ago a 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck 38 km north of Mendoza, Guaymallén Mendoza, Argentina at a depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

Towns or cities close to the epicenter of the quake that might have felt a weak shaking include Mendoza, Santiago, Rengo, San Martin, San Rafael and Puento Alto.
