Nearly half an hour ago a 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck 49 km northeast of Tagudin, Province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines at a shallow depth of 11km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
The earthquake was felt kn Sagada (pop. 2,800) located 21 km from the epicenter, the quake should have been felt as light shaking.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Mankayan (pop. 15,900) located 46 km from the epicenter, Santa Maria (pop. 28,000) 58 km away, Tagudin (pop. 35,800) 59 km away, Vigan (pop. 48,500) 62 km away, San Fernando (pop. 83,000) 94 km away, Santiago (pop. 108,400) 96 km away, Tuguegarao City (pop. 115,100) 97 km away, and Baguio City (pop. 272,700) 100 km away.
