Dozens of firefighters are currently battling a massive four- alarm fire in a residential apartment building in Flatbush Brooklyn, New York, United States. The fire started at 5.30pm on Friday. It seems to have started in a Prospect Lefferts Garden Apartment.

Heavy plume of smoke was seen emanating from the apartment building, as firefighters attempt to stop the spread of the fire to nearby buildings. No reports of any injuries or casualties.

Update: Fire injured four people including a firefighter.
