Moments ago a 5.7-magnitude earthquake struck the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, 86km southeast of Rhodos, Greece at a depth of 10km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.

It was felt in towns or cities located close to the epicenter. This includes Lindos, Archangelos, Rhodos, lalysos and Embonas. Due to the earthquake’s proximity to Turkey, it was also felt moderately in several Turkish towns or cities which includes Fethiye and even some light shaking in Antalya and Bodrum.
