Just moments ago sources have reported a strong 6.8-magnitude earthquake in Hindu Kush Region, Afghanistan near the Tajikistan border at a depth of 184km.
The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
It is still early to determine the damage caused by this earthquake. It was most likely felt by a good amount of people living in towns or cities located close to the epicenter. More details to follow.
