Local sources have reported a huge explosion at the Pemex oil and gas refinery plant in Deerpark, Texas. Thick black smoke could be seen from miles away. Several people reported that they heard multiple explosions at the chemical plant which resulted in the huge fire.

Emergency crew and other agencies are currently on site. There are reports of injured people, but no casualties.

The Twitter account of DeerParkOEM released a citizen advisory. They said that they are in constant communication with the chemical plant, and are currently conducting air monitoring of the area.
